Yekaterinburg SCO Summit important step toward more balanced world order

Russian media and experts on Wednesday hailed the ninth annual summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which has just concluded in the Russian Urals city of Yekaterinburg a day earlier.

It is said that the summit can bring positive influence upon its member states as well as other regions of the world.

Alexey Vlasov, general director of the Information and Analytical Center for Study of the Social and Political Processes in the post-Soviet space at Lomonosov Moscow State University, said in an article that the SCO summit marks a major step in solidifying the international status of the regional bloc comprising China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan [Story continued here]
